Overview

Rome's largest Baroque fountain, where a single coin toss promises a return to the Eternal City.

Designed by Nicola Salvi and completed in 1762, the Trevi Fountain erupts from the rear wall of Palazzo Poli with Neptune commanding the seas. Toss a coin with your right hand over your left shoulder for luck — and join the 3,000 kg of coins thrown here every year.
